Every hockey fan dreams of one day drinking from Lord Stanley's Mug. So, in a year when even the cups winning players may of not been able to take that winning sip (Covid), we did something to let all hockey fans do what they’ve always dreamed - we poured Molson Canadian through the bowl of the Stanley Cup creating beer blessed from it. The limited edition sold out across Canada.
Production notes: The HHOF & NHL could only provide the Stanley cup for 4x hours. The brewing tank locks automatically every few hours to not disturb the brewing process and we were only allowed a limited number of crew in the brewery. So, we decided we needed a test day - we spent a full day at the brewery prepping the spout line, mapping out our shots, running tests and rehearsing shots. This spot was shot docu-style to fit our small shoot window. A challenging production balancing all parties regulations and restrictions; HHOF, NHL, the Brewery and COVID, yet a complete success.
